The Rue d'Erceville project in Nemours tells the story of the transformation of a site currently occupied by an old house into a complex of 47 collective housing units. Located between a collective housing building, individual houses and two major urban axes, the site offers a natural transition between different urban scales.
The development is organized around three buildings positioned perpendicular to the street, creating a landscaped block heart and promoting through or multi-aspect apartments. The volumes, of R+2 topped with a setback attic level, extend the silhouette of the existing built fabric without disruption. The facades, sober and monochrome, are punctuated by loggias, solids and voids that give the project a domestic and contemporary scale.
The ground floor accommodates parking, bicycle storage, cellars and technical spaces, while pedestrian circulation crosses through a generously planted garden. The project complies with PLU requirements, particularly in terms of height, ground coverage, parking and landscaping treatment.
Designed to offer comfort, readability and quality of use, the project fits into the continuity of the neighborhood while bringing a simple, sustainable and elegant architectural expression.
